Welcome to Sundog Wood Murals!
Hi! My name is Sherri Lewis. I create original intarsia murals featuring subjects which are close to my heart, such as elephants and rhinos.
Every Sundog mural is an original design created from my own drawings and imagination, lovingly-made and imbued with my creative energy.
The ancient art form of intarsia uses different kinds of wood cut into various shapes and thicknesses. These pieces are then sculpted with sanding tools to create a gently-contoured surface which is as inviting to touch as it is to see.
I hope you enjoy browsing through my website, which features a sampling of the hundreds of murals I have created over the past 18 years as well as a peek inside my magical workshop.
Thank you for stopping by!
